The LMACS SEPAC (Special Education Parent Advisory Council) is having its first meeting this school year on Monday November 6th from 3-4 at 67 Middle Street, Lowell MA. We will be introducing Special Education staff, discussing transition planning for students, and will be searching for a SEPAC Chairperson.
The LMACS SEPAC is a volunteer group of parents that advises the Special Education administration on matters pertaining to the education and safety of children with disabilities. It is an important component of the special education program, and serves to support parents and students through the IEP and 504 processes and during their time at our school. Membership is free and open to parents/caregivers of students with a disability, students on an IEP or 504 plan, teachers, and administrators.
